Learning is Fun!
The Annexe
This week the Annexe children have had a great time!
The children have had an amazing time exploring different textures with some wet sand and also with some pasta. Pasta was a good chance for some of our little ones to practice their transporting schemas moving the pasta from one bowl to another and around.
This week the children in the Annexe have been loving their time in the garden as well, hooray for the sunshine! They have been building those core muscles by doing some climbing onto the slide and have been working a bit of hand eye co-ordination while playing catch with the balls as well.
Busy Birds
What an amazing week we have had in Busy Birds!
This week Busy Birds have been continuing to explore in the garden and enjoying lots of sunshine! In the garden the children explored some coloured noodles which they used to look at different marks they can make, one noodle makes a little mark but if you put a lot of noodles in one place it makes a big mark.
Busy Birds were very excited to explore the learning garden this week, a couple small groups went out with Jennie and took turns watering the plants and exploring the mud kitchen and painting easel as well.
Of course no week in Busy Birds is complete without a fun music and movement session with Miss Annabell, this is always easily the highlight of the week and the children are always extra excited to see her!
PreSchool
Pre-School had a great time this week!
The children have continued to enjoy plenty of time in the sunshine. The garden has been a great chance for some imagination play this week with one little boy making his very own pirate ship!
We have seen continued interest in the climbing wall and dome as well which helps the children take controlled risks and learn how to further challenge themselves in a safe and secure environment.
