Annexe

What a fun all be it busy week we have had in the Annexe!

The children have had a big change this week moving over to the top two floors of the Munchkins building and while they have been a little unsure and somewhat unsettled at times the children are adapting so well and enjoying exploring their new surroundings and seeing some new faces!

The children have also been doing some early counting this week when looking at different animals and how many legs they have such as spiders and their eight legs!

Busy Birds

Busy Birds have had so much fun this week!

We have been enjoying exploring new things, some of the children tried frozen peas (and even tried to eat some) which while the team didn't know if that would be so tasty the children certainly did!

The children this week have been continuing to work on their much anticipated Christmas craft and have been working on their pincer grips and hand eye co-ordination. The children have also really enjoyed exploring different stories and sharing these with their friends which was a wonderful way to see some friendships forming.

Pre-School

This week Pre-School have been doing lots of fun learning!

The children have been working on building those fine motor skills with some moblo, creating things using their imaginations and learning how things work when seeing how each piece connects. The children have also been working on recognizing and mimicking patterns as well.

With the theme of Christmas the children have enjoyed a wide range of Christmas themed activities including making their own snow men out of white pom poms. We saw some great sharing and turn taking and of course plenty of mess in the end but most of all some very happy children!
